So tonight we vote for the representative act who will go to whoever country won last year's Eurovision Song Contest and gain 'nil pointe' as per usual.
For the 53rd year we have entered this contest and maybe it's the UK's year? Yeh right like we take it seriouly! Should follow in the Irish camp's footsteps and vote a turkey? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1lIdd3VDBs&feature=related We all know the problem is that the other countries vote for who their neighbours are and other countries also take it so seriously but then again did we used to take it seriously? Think Bucks Fizz? They used to be massive years ago.......with mums and 8 year olds, lol.
I might flick on and see some of the acts, I think it's a two parter and Im not sure if the second part is next week or tomorrow? The acts are people who have been on talent shows and now can't get a record contract (again as per usual). Andy Abrahams, ex finalist X Factor, A 'Maria', A 'Joseph', Michelle Gayle from Eastennnnnnnders. are all performing and I don't know any of the others so we shall see what happens. American Idol is on ITV2 is on now and that is much more interesting but alas full of brash Americans (with one Irish lass and Australian bloke with visas) - I'm off.
